Peshawar High Court's verdict annulled: PTI's bat symbol withdrawn

The Supreme Court's upholding of the Election Commission's decision to withdraw the bat symbol from the PTI is in no way an anti-PTI decision. PTI was directed several times by the Election Commission to conduct intra-party elections, which were not conducted. In 2021, PTI was in government in the federation/provinces, so the party cannot say that the EC was discriminating (this is part of the court ruling). Repeatedly asked to show receipts and evidence of transparent election which could not be provided. PTI itself is responsible for missing the electoral mark.

The Supreme Court decision is not for any party but for the strengthening of democracy in Pakistan. In the future, no party will have the courage to hold Jharlo elections within itself. Only if there is democracy and level playing field within the political parties, it will have an impact on the national elections. Today's decision of the Supreme Court is an important milestone in the long-term journey of victory and strengthening of democracy.
